SUMMARY
Do you have what it takes to join the #ytfamily and #liveuncaged? We’re on the hunt for high-octane young talents ready to help us become the best mountain bike brand in the world. As a design intern at YT, you’ll be an essential part of our team and involved in all our activities. Starting in October 2024, you’ll dive into the Product Development – Engineering/Design team.
YOUR MISSION
  • Contribute to the design and development of mountain bike frames and accessories
  • Work closely with the design team to come up with new design concepts that help drive the company forward
  • Support your teammates in the day-to-day business
  • Gain direct insights into the world of YT and our processes
  • Take care of smaller projects from the first idea to the start of production in close collaboration with peers and supervisors
  • Participate in the communication during the projects with international suppliers
  • Ensure product quality through creative and innovative ideas

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • You are currently and for the full duration of the internship enrolled at a university
  • You are studying Industry or Product Design or a related course of study and by the time you start your internship will at least be in 4th Semester
  • Preferably, you are experienced in SolidWorks, or you have got other CAD software knowledge like Rhino, Cinema, Fusion360, etc.
  • You are familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially PS, AI and ID.
  • You have an open and positive mindset as well as analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Your work is characterized by a hands-on mentality, results-orientation, and a great amount of team spirit
  • You are fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage
  • You have got good knowledge of different presentation techniques
  • Passion for the bike sport and a pronounced artistic understanding complete your profile

Hast du das Zeug dazu, Teil der YT Family und #liveuncaged zu werden? Wir sind auf der Suche nach hochmotivierten jungen Talenten, die uns dabei helfen, die beste Mountainbike-Marke weltweit zu werden. Als Praktikant (m/w/d) bei YT bist du ein wichtiger Teil des Teams und all unserer Unternehmensaktivitäten.
 
Komm zu uns und werde Teil der YT-Familie als ​Praktikant ab Oktober 2024.

DEINE MISSION
  • Mitarbeit an der Gestaltung und Entwicklung von Mountainbikerahmen und -zubehör
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Designteam beim Entwurf neuer Designkonzepte, die uns dabei helfen, das Unternehmen weiter voranzubringen
  • Unterstützung der Teamkollegen im Tagesgeschäft
  • Gewinnung von direkten Einblicken in die Welt von YT und unsere Prozesse
  • Betreuung kleiner Projekte von der ersten Idee bis zum Produktionsstart in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Kollegen und Vorgesetzten
  • Mitwirkung an der projektbegleitenden Kommunikation mit den jeweiligen internationalen Lieferanten
  • Sicherstellung der Produktqualität durch kreative und innovative Ideen
 

DAS BRINGST DU MIT
  • Du bist derzeit und für die gesamte Dauer des Praktikums an einer Hochschule eingeschrieben
  • Du studierst Industrie- oder Produktdesign oder einen verwandten Studiengang und bist zum Beginn des Praktikums mind. im 4. Semester
  • Idealerweise hast du bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit SolidWorks gesammelt, alternativ beherrschst du eine andere CAD-Software, z.B. Rhino, Cinema, Fusion360, etc.
  • Du kennst dich gut mit der Adobe Creative Suite, besonders mit PS, AI und ID, aus
  • Deine offene und positive Denkweise sowie dein analytisches und konzeptionelles Denken zeichnen dich aus
  • Deine Arbeit ist geprägt durch deine Hands-on-Mentalität, Ergebnisorientierung und eine große Portion Teamgeist
  • Du sprichst fließend Englisch, weitere Sprachkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
  • Du hast gute Kenntnisse in verschiedenen Präsentationstechniken
  • Leidenschaft für den Bikesport und ein ausgeprägtes künstlerisches Verständnis runden dein Profil ab
